About Us
Dr. Tyler Callison, L.Ac., DACM
Acupuncturist
Tyler Callison earned his Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science and is currently advancing his expertise through studies in Classical Chinese Medicine. Dedicated to treating conditions effectively by addressing their root causes rather than just managing symptoms, Tyler has found that a specific style of acupuncture, combined with lifestyle modifications, can significantly reduce inflammation, improve overall quality of life, and help patients return to the activities they love.
An avid surfer from a young age, Tyler has developed a deep understanding of how the body adapts to movement and recovers from injury. He knows the importance of quick recovery and believes life is about fostering enjoyment through relationships and activities. However, he also understands how chronic and acute conditions can make these essential aspects of life seem unattainable. With family roots in medicine—both of his parents practice acupuncture—Tyler has always been a healer at heart, passionate about helping people reclaim their lives and fostering a mindset of growth and possibility.
As the head of Callison Integrative Health, Tyler aligns with the clinic’s mission to provide exceptional care. He strives to ensure that each patient encounter is an opportunity for learning and healing. This involves treating each patient as a unique case and avoiding the pitfalls of a one-size-fits-all approach. It is important to the clinic’s mission that we take utmost care of our patients and work diligently to find answers, even when they are not immediately apparent. Specializing in musculoskeletal conditions, joint disease, degenerative conditions, and traumatic injury, Tyler emphasizes a holistic approach to treatment, aiming for long-term well-being and comprehensive care.”
